Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, model, inventor and businesswoman from Australia. When she began her career in her home country, she eventually moved to Hollywood and has found significant success at the top of her game. The native of Perth George was initially interested by dancing and artful roller skating. As a young teenager she began her professional modelling career. She was given the Western Australia Teenage Model title in the year 1992. Following that year, she was on screen in an episode on the soap-opera series Seven Network Home and Away. Her big screen debut was in the crime thriller Dark City and essayed various support roles in films such as Alias The Limey and Down with Love before making her first appearance as the female lead in a mainstream Hollywood project, in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror. Her current role is among Hollywood's most sought after Australian expatriates. George being an entrepreneur, has launched her own company Style Snaps on the market.
